BEML asked to pay off tax
DH News Service, KGF:

MLA Y Sampangi warned the BEML to pay off the tax  to CMC, else it would be locked down. He was speaking at the CMC emergency meeting at KGF on Friday.

The BEML which has been earning huge profit has to pay Rs 1.5 crore to the CMC. 

The members brought to the notice of the MLA that there has been irregular water supply and water is being supplied once in 15 days, causing inconvenience. The members complained that street lights are also not functioning properly.

Member Murali complained of the motors missing which were fixed to borewells. He also said that water which is not purified is leading to health hazards.
