District Crime Investigation Bureau (DCIB) has arrested two persons for indulging in selling duplicate diamonds and seized 8 duplicate diamond stones from them on Friday. Kasim (70), a resident of Pilya in Nekkilady and Sikander Ahmed (30), a merchant in Savanur taluk (Haveri) are the arrested. The two had been trying to sell the “diamond stones” with them since July 5 to one Rajesh in Mangalore. Even, the business negotiation had ended in Rajesh deciding to buy them for Rs 31 lakh.
