Power shut-down by BESCOM today
Bescom has announced a power supply shut-down on Sunday, July 8 from 10 am to 3 pm to carry out maintenance work at Yarandanahalli and Electronic City sub-station by KPTCL. 
Dial 12660 to lodge complaints.
The areas to be affected are: Electronic City phase 1, Govindashetty Palya, Doddathogur, Chikkathogur, Hosur Main Road, AECS Layout, Parappana Agrahara, Harlukunte, Hosapalya, Mangammanapalya, Hongasandra, GB Palya, Subashnagar, Singasandra, Naganathapura, Doddanagamanahalli, Basapura, CK Nagar, Beretana Agrahara, Infosys and the surrounding areas.
Cab service with                             GPS introduced
Breeze Cool Cabs, a City-based taxi service provider has introduced cab service with global positioning system (GPS). A central control room would keep track of each taxi cab says T Prabhakar, chairman, Breeze Cool Cabs.

Transport adalat                            on July 10
Transport Adalat will be held on July 10, 2007 at 3 pm at the Regional Transport Office (South), Jayanagar, Bangalore.
The transport adalat will be attended by senior officers of the department. Public can make use of this adalat for redressal of their grievances.
