T C Rudrappa (71), Congress worker and a civil contractor died here on Saturday.
   He leaves behind his wife, one daughter and three  sons.
A resident of Jayapura in Tumkur, he was the president of Lakshmidevi Trust, vice-president of Tumkur taluk Industries Society, vice-president of Dr B R Ambedkar Smarak Sangha and also served in various other institutions. 
The cremation was held in the City on Sunday.  A large number of people paid their last respects to him.
