B’lore east remains in the dark
Several parts of the City under the east division faced frequent power cuts on Monday.
Bescom authorities told Deccan Herald they imposed cuts to enable installation of new 20-MVA transformers at Austin Town.
They also said another 20-MVA transformer would be installed at the B Station near MG Road entrance on Tuesday. “Once these transformers are installed, the power problem in Austin Town and its surrounding areas and also MG Road and its surrounding areas would be solved to a large extent,” they said.
