Speaking to press persons after releasing reporters’ phone directory of Bangalore Reporters Guild in Bangalore, Mr Revanna said the party’s supreme leader H D Deve Gowda has made it clear that the transfer of power will be a smooth process and the BJP need not worry. There is no need to give much importance to Labour minister Iqbal Ansari’s statement, he said. However, he said, Mr Deve Gowda, State President M P Prakash and Chief minister Kumaraswamy will take final decision on this issue.

Replying to a question on BJP MLC Janardhana Reddy’s proposed tour to ‘disclose truth of mining scam’, Mr Revanna said let him do whatever he wants.
Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa after launching the guild’s website said the State has collected tax to the tune of Rs 4,117.55 crore in April and May, this year. The collection is 19 per cent more than what was collected in same perion during the previous financial year.
