The golden jubilee celebration of Natya Nikethana will be held at Town Hall in Mangalore on June 16, said Natya Nikethana Suvarna Mahotsava Samithi General Secretary Mohan Kumar Kumblekar.
Addressing a press meet here on Tuesday, he said Udayavani Chief Editor A Ishwaraiah will preside over the programme while Dance master Vittal will inaugurate the celebration. Kannada Sahitya Parishat former president Harikrishna Punarur and MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik will be the chief guests. Litterateur Prof Amruth Somewshwar will be felicitated on the occasion. A Tulu dance ballet “Eluver Deyyar” will be staged on the occasion by the students of Natya Nikethana.
As a part of the golden jubilee celebration, ‘Nrithyotsava’ will be held for a week in Mangalore in the month of December.
