Alleging that a website had posted a demeaning article on Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the Bhagat Yuva Sene has demanded that the website be banned in the web centres.
“The write-up on Shivaji Maharaj hurts the sentiments of the patriots. Misusing personal freedom it was not right to hurt the sentiments of the people and this cannot be accepted. If the cyber centres are found using this website, then they will be attacked,” warned the Bhagat Sene chief Kyatasandra Krishna in a release.
Even the State government should enforce a ban on this website and the cyber centres’ owners should take care not to host this website. If they do not do so then they would intensify their agitation.  A meeting has been called for on Tuesday to discuss this issue,  said the statement.
