CRICKET / Patel too gets the boot; Rohit, Ranadeb get look-in
Sehwag, Harbhajan out of Test, one-day teams  
Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh and an injured Munaf Patel were on Tuesday axed from both the one-day international and Test squads for the upcoming tour of Ireland and England, while Mahendra Singh Dhoni was appointed vice-captain for the one-dayers.
Camps served their purpose  
At the end of the four-day fitness-specific camp for batsmen, bowling coach Venkatesh Prasad said the players had adapted to the new methods well and become more fitness conscious.
Its final, Woolmer was not murdered  
Former Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer died of natural causes, and was not murdered as initially suspected, Jamaican police said on Tuesday, bringing to an embarrassing close a three-month investigation that had gripped the cricket world.
Graded payment to stay  
The Indian cricketers on Tuesday had their way on the contentious contracts issue, forcing the BCCI to go back to the graded system under which the top five players get a retainership of Rs 50 lakh each annually.
