The state urban development department has completed the delimitation of wards of urban local bodies in the district including Gulbarga Maha Nagara Palike and has issued notification for fixing  reservation of wards for SC, ST, backward class and general categories.     The wards have been revamped based on the 2001 census.  The district administration has called for objections from the concerned and affected for the fixation of reservcation within seven days from the notification of the same in the gazette.
The gazette notification has been issued on June 6 and the district administration is calling for objections on June 12.
Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Pandey has asked people to submit their objections if any in writing to his  office.

The details of notification of fixation of reservation of wards could be seen in the office of the deputy commissioner or on the website of the Nagara Palike ccglb@sancharnet.com.in.
Reservation has been fixed for all the 55 wards of the Gulbarga Maha Nagara Palike. 
Besides wards of Yadgir City Municipal Corporation, Town Municipal Councils of Surapur, Shahapur, Aland; Pattan Panchayats of Afzalpur, and Gurmitkal.
Objections for wards reservation notification of all these urban local bodies have been asked to be filed in writing to the deputy commissioner’s office.
