This has reference to the question of second airport in Bangalore. It is good to have a second airport. But not the existing HAL airport, which is already congested.  The proposal made by the IT sector should be rejected. One can see the airport is like a market place. Also, if there is an International Airport coming up at Devanahalli, then why do they require HAL airport?. Their demand that, this can be used for domestic travel should be rejected by HAL. The IT sector is bothered only about their convenience and needs, they are not bothered about the heavy traffic caused on Airport Road everyday.  So my feeling is that the present HAL airport should not be used once the International Airport is ready as scheduled by 2008.
