Mysore University will conduct post graduation common entrance test (PGCET) for the students who intend to pursue studies in Mangalore University for taking up MA (English, Political Science, Economics), MSc (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Physics, Chemistry), MEd and MCom from July 12 to 15.
The examinations will be conducted at University College, Mangalore, FMKMC College, Madikeri and MGM College, Udupi. Notices with regard to the dates will be sent. Those interested in joining the above mentioned 11 courses can avail the applications for the examination through sending a demand draft for Rs 400 drawn in favour of finance officer, Mysore University (for SC/STs, the application fee is Rs 200) and the applications can be received in person from the Mangalore University Vice-Chancellors’ office, Administrative Building, Mangalagangothri from June 15 to 25.
Those who wish to receive the application through post are required to send a DD for Rs 500 (for SC/STs the fee is Rs 300) drawn in favour of Finance Officer, Mysore University should be sent to special officer, CET Cell, Crafford Building Mysore University, Mysore 570005. Those who wish to appear for the entrance examinations for various courses, must send the applications separately. The last date for receiving application forms is June 25.
