S M Silks, reputed for its pure Kancheepuram sarees, is celebrating its third successful year in Bangalore. To mark the occasion, an exciting offer of a gold coin will be given on every purchase of Rs 10,000 and above till the end of this month.

The group has a huge outlet at Majestic and one at Chickpet. The Majestic showroom occupies 8,800 square feet and offers pure silk, gold, real silver zari sarees and special wedding silk sarees. It offers more than a lakh sarees with prices ranging from Rs 1,500 to more than a lakh. Synthetic, chiffon sarees and silk sarees are also available here.

Speaking on the occasion, managing director of S M Silks, M.S Manoharan Naidoo said,“ We are focussing on Bangalore, and will come up with another showroom at Gandhi Bazar. People here are very fond of Kancheepuram sarees”.

This is a family business that grew over a span of 25 years. The men behind the saree store had come to Bangalore four years back and started work as mere salesmen. Bangalore has helped them make it big, Naidoo added.

S M Silks has its own silk factory from where silk is sourced. The commendable aspect is that they sell sarees at the price offered in wholesale shops or even at rates sold in Kancheepuram itself.  S M Silks has a chain of stores in Chennai and Kancheepuram.
