Accused in Sohrabuddin case seek bail
DH News Service,Ahmedabad:

Three absconding policemen from Rajasthan, accused in the Sohrabuddin fake encounter case, have applied for anticipatory bail in the Gujarat High Court on Friday. The bail applications of the three policemen, Abdul Rehman Shaikh, Shyam Singh and Himanshu Singh, had been earlier rejected by the Sessions Court in Ahmedabad.
Encouraged by exemption granted from narco-analysis and brain mapping tests to the three IPS officials accused in the Sohrabuddin and Kausar Bi killings and the anticipatory bail granted to CID crime DySP Dr Narendra Amin, the three Rajasthan policemen now believe that they have a better chance of bail being granted to them by the Gujarat High Court.
This has also raised hopes in ‘Godmother’ Santokben Jadeja, of exemption from the narco analysis and brain mapping tests.
Earlier, the Junagadh Court had sanctioned the request  by Junagadh police for the above mentioned tests on her.
