Rainfall occurred at many places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Interior Karnataka.
Rainfall amounts (cm): Kota (Udupi dt) 7, Kundapur (Udupi dt), Belgaum AP 6, Shirali 5, Mulki (DK dt), Navalgund (Dharwad dt), Arsikere (Hassan dt) 3, Mudbidre, Subramanya (DK), Yedwad, Sankeshwar (Belgaum dt), Kottigehara (Chikmagalur dt), Basaralu (Mandya dt) 2, Karkala (Udupi dt), Bhatkal (UK), Gokak (Belgaum dt), Kuknoor (Koppal dt), Kalasa (Chikmagalur dt), Hallimysore (Hassan dt0, Udupi, Madikeri, Dharwad, Hassan 1 each. Maximum temperatures markedly rose at most places over Interior Karnataka and they were below normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and were normal over South Interior Karnataka.
Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 36.1°C over the State.
