District Surgeon Dr Prabhudev informed that there are shortage of pharmacists in District Wenlock Hospital. Out of eight sanctioned pharmacists only two of them are working.
   Minister directed the District Surgeon to be ready for the inauguration of fulfledged paediatric unit at Wenlock hospital by November 14.
   Dr Prabhudev informed the meeting that the building will be handed over to the Wenlock Hospital on July 2.
   Minister urged the DHO Dr Jagannath to be cautious over the outbreak of Chikungunya in the district. 
   DC said the result of the blood test for the Malaria should be made available within 12 hour to avoid any major casualties.
   To a query on trauma centres in the district, Dr Jagannath said trauma centres have been sanctioned for Belthangady, Bantwal, Vamadapadavu, Mulky and Sullia.
   Tenders have been invited for two trauma centres.
