BCA course inaugurated
   Madanthyar Sacred Heart College has started a BCA course from the current academic year to commemorate the silver jubilee celebrations of the College.
   According to a press release, the course was inaugurated on June 13 by the College Correspondent Fr Valerian Frank.
   Parish Council Vice- President Paul Mascarenhas and Principal Dr J C Miranda were present on the occasion.
Poets’ meet in Mangalore
   The Bharatiya Jain Milan of Mangalore will be organising a ‘Kavi Goshti’ of poets of the Udupi and Dakshina Kannada Jain Milans at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Law college Sabha Bhavan in Mangalore on June 17 as part of their monthly meeting.
   According to a press release, Moodbidri Jain Mutt seer Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Pandithacharyavarya Swamiji will grace the occasion. The participating poets are Prof Na Ujire, Pa Indra, Rajendra Ariga, Jinesh Jain, Vinoda Prasanna Kumar, Shwetha Jain, M V Shetty, Rathnakumar M, Rajesh M and N Ganesh Prasadji, the release added.
