No Pact On Collective Security
LONDON, June 15.
United Kingdom and Soviet Union have “different points of view on many great issues” but these “ought not to prevent us from making some kind of advance towards a more sensible relationship between our two countries,” the British Prime Minister, Mr Harold MacMillan, told Marshal Nikolai Bulganin,
Soviet Premier, in a personal letter handed over in Moscow yesterday.
Pak Won’t Have Peace As Partner
DACCA, June 16.
Maulana Bhashani, President of the East Pakistan Awami League, declared here last night he firmly believed that the countries which were partners in military pacts could never have peace.
The Maulana, who was commenting on the Awami League Council’s foreign policy resolution in an interview said those who supported Prime Minister Suhrawardy’s foreign policy were sure to realise the truth of his statement.
This realisation will come some time within the next 16 months, said Moulana Bhashani.

PM and Reagan To Hold Talks
NEW DELHI, June 16
Prime Minister Indira Gandhi will have wide-ranging talks with President Ronald Reagan during her visit to the US beginning on July 27. After spending a day in New York, Mrs Gandhi will proceed to Washington where she will have formal discussions with Mr Reagan on July 29. The President will host a dinner in her honour that day. She will lunch with the US Secretary of State, Mr Raig after formal talks at the White House.
