Gulbarga region given raw deal  
The government has sanctioned 190 new government high schools for the state and Gulbarga region has been given only 34 high schools while the other regions which are advanced and forward have been given more number of schools.
Hold local body elections soon: DCC  
The government should not postpone the election to local bodies, by citing silly reasons. It should announce the election soon, said Dakshina Kannada district Congress Committee President Blasius DSouza.
