Divine Mother Society is organising its popular Gaata rahe mera dil show. Golden hits of a bygone era will be recreated by its star-studded team of artistes from across the country on June 24 at Ambedkar Bhavan at 6 pm.
Songs sung by Rafi, Kishore, Mukesh, Hemant, Lata, Asha, Geeta Dutt and Shamshad Begum will find place in the programme. Proceeds from the show will fund social service projects run by the group. Donor passes of Rs 200, 250, 300 and Rs 500 (VIP) are available at the DMS office located at 13, Girls School Road, Mavalli, Off R V Road (26578926 or 98457 99706). Dance, music contest
On the occasion of the 94 birth anniversary of its founder Prabath Kalavidaru Shri Gopinath Dasaru, Gopinath Das Nyasa is by conducting a national level classical dance and music competition for the students of Bharathanatyam, Kuchipudi, Sugama Sangeetha and Devaranama on June 23 and 24 at Rashtrothana Parishath, Chamarajpet.
