Hospital bags award

Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Yoga and Nature Cure Hospital was conferred the Service-Par Excellence Award and the Smt Gangamma and Sri Subramanyam Holla Memorial Rolling Shield -2006-07 by the Rotary Club of Bangalore Orchards, here on Tuesday.


 Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Yoga and Nature Cure Hospital was conferred  the Service-Par Excellence Award and the Smt Gangamma and Sri Subramanyam Holla Memorial Rolling Shield -2006-07 by the Rotary Club of Bangalore Orchards, here on Tuesday.
The  hospital, managed by Shanthivana Trust, was conferred the award by Rotarian Srikanth M Chatrapathy, District Governor, Rotary District 3190,  in appreciation of the dedicated, selfless and yeoman services to mankind for nurturing health through yoga and following the tradition of Indian System of Medicine.
Three Rotarians - Murali Mohan, TM Adiga and Rajashekaran - were given the Paul Harris Fellowship Award.
The Rotary Club of Bangalore Orchards also donated a computer and three sewing machines to an anganwadi centre in Channapatna.
