The seat selection process by Consortium of Medical, Dental and Engineering Colleges in Karnataka (Comed-K) for management quota seats will commence at the NMKRV Mangala Mantapa in Jayanagar, 3rd Block, Bangalore from June 21.
The counselling pr-ocess will begin first with seats in the medical and dental streams.
Here’s a bird-eye view of what’s in store during the Comed-K counselling.
Total number of seats available at Comed-K member institutions
Engineering: 9,063
Medical: 888
Dental: 776
Fees payable at Bangalore, at the time of seat selection during the centralised counselling
Medical – Rs 3,25,000.
Dental – Rs 2,30,000.
Engineering and Architecture – Rs 50,000 (The balance of applicable fee for the course and the college will have to be paid at the time of admission, along with the original documents at the allotted college).
Candidates who seek admission should produce the required documents with one set of photocopies of the same and the demand draft for the notified fee (Name and TAT number should be mentioned at the back of the Demand Draft) for verification at the Comed-K counselling venue, at the time of registration for seat selection.
After verification, all original certificates will be returned to the candidates, for submitting the same to the college at the time of admission along with the allotment letter. Only a set of photocopies of the documents will be retained.

Seat selection
Selection of a seat by a candidate and allocation comprises of the following stages:
Verification of the Original documents and DD
Registration of the candidates
Exercising the option by candidates which involves selection of seats in accordance with order of merit.
Remittance of fees in the form of Demand Draft
