Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) is offering various courses in computer graphics, 3D animation and special effects.

Aruna Kumar (MAAC – GM – South) said, “There has been a convergence of IT, communication and entertainment taking place in the industry. This has led to an increased application of computer graphics and animation for various modes of communication and for the need of converting animation into an industry.
At MAAC, we cater to the large demand of quality manpower prevailing in both national and international markets, vibrant business environment, IT infrastructure and a large creative talent pool makes it an ideal location for the animation industry. MAAC’s animation training centre will train and equip talent in India and prepare them for global careers in animation”
MAAC has also recently tied up with the University of Cambridge International examinations (CIE). Following a successful evaluation of course material and assessments, CIE has agreed to validate MAAC's flagship Advanced Diploma in 3D Animation & Visual effects (AD3D) and Professional Diploma in 3D Animation (PD3D) programmes.  This process will involve continual monitoring by which CIE will ensure that quality standards are maintained, and that students are provided with the most appropriate forms of assessment. CIE will also quality assure MAAC's academic systems, ensuring that administration meets the expected standards of international best practice. Students who meet the programmes’ assessment criteria and pass their award will receive a CIE certificate, printed in Cambridge and bearing the logos of both MAAC and CIE.
The programme  consist of six modules from Pre- Production & Planning, Computer Graphics – Photoshop , 3D Animation – Maya, ZBrush, Non Linear editing – Premier, Final Cut Pro, Compositing & Visual Effects – After Effects, Eyeon Fusion & Apple Shake. At the end of the programme every student needs to submit the SHOWREEL developed to get the Certification. On the bases of the showreel, the Campus Recruitment drive is conducted at all the locations.
