Party on Thursdaze
Vinamra Santhosh

What do Bangaloreans do on Tursdays? Believe it or not, it’s not all work for Bangaloreans through the weekdays. Yes, the weekend seems to be starting earlier! Radio Indigo along with Foster’s is hosting ‘Thursdaze’, an exclusive theme party to beat the midweek blues. Radio Indigo allies with over thirty pubs and lounges to make Thursdaze a success.
Each week, Thursdaze will feature a different genre of music, such as rock,  hip-hop, rap, jazz & blues, retro and more. This will serve as a good platform for aspiring DJs, rappers, hip-hop enthusiasts, rock and retro bands.
The theme for last Thursday’s party was retro. The party was held at Casa del Sol. Come 9.00 pm, people were sitting around enjoying the company of good friends while tracks such as Walk the line and King of the road played in the background. DJ Pinto played a lot of mixes of popular tracks such as Great balls of fire, Rasputin, Ma Baker, Dancing Queen, YMCA, DISCO, Gimme Hope Joanna and Wake me up before you go go.
By 10.30 pm the crowd was on the dance floor thoroughly enjoying themselves. Foster’s goodies went out to five lucky people who happened to know quite a bit about Australia.
Other themes that Radio Indigo has covered on Thurzdaze include Hip Hop nights, Rock nights and the the Red Carpet night.
This unique concept brings music lovers together and also makes Thursday nights in Bangalore something to look forward to. The event should get more interesting with the success of more parties.
Music Lovers can tune in to Radio Indigo for further details on these parties. Thirty lucky listeners get invited  to the party and other people who wish to attend this party may write to events@radioindigo.fm.
