Kailasam’s play
Antharanga, amateur theatre group is staging Kailasam’s play “Huttadalli Hutta”, on June 24 at 6.15 pm at Vidya Sabhangana, Our School Education Trust, opp BNM College, 17th Main, 27th Cross, Banashankari II stage.
Ikebana show
The Sogetsu school of Ikebana, Bangalore is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year by holding a spectacular Ikebana exhibition on June 22, 23, 24 at the KAS Officers Association building, No 1 Infantry Road.
The show will be inaugrated at 5 pm on June 22 by Suresh Heblikar, environmentalist and the guest of honour will be Anu Prabhakar. A part of exhibition proceeds will be donated to HIV/AIDS patients.
The Sogetsu schoolof Ikebana, Bangalore is an affiliated branch of the Sogetsu school of Ikebana, Tokyo, Japan and it has 125 members who meet every month and conduct workshops, demonstrations and also conduct exhibitions. The Sogetsu School of Ikebana donates part of the exhibition proceeds to charitable humanitarian services.
Book festival
Strand Book Stall is organising a 10-day mid-annual book festival from June 22 to July 1 at Basava Bhavan, Near Chalukya Hotel from 10 am to 8.30 pm. Categories cover fiction, literature,
management, self-help, history, philosophy, science, art, design, architecture, reference, fitness, travel, cookery, crafts and children's books.

Book launch
Penguin Books and Landmark are organising the launch of “Men in White: A book of cricket” by Mukul Kesavan on June 27 at 7 pm at Landmark, The Forum, Koramangala. Historian and cricket writer Ramachandra Guha will be in conversation with the author.

Glass Collection
Cinnamon located on Walton Road is presenting a collection in glass by Frost which will be on till July 1. Glass has been a source of endless fascination since time immemorial.
The catching of light and its reflection, the rainbow through a clear cystal- each one of us are awestruck with it.
Frost is a glass studio where Aarti Sanghi, the artist has excelled in creating magic by designing glassware with technique of “etchning and frosting.” Aarti has nine years of experience in designing architectural glass and more recently glassware.
The collection especially designed for Cinnamon includes drinking glasses, beer mugs, long stemmed wine glasses, shot glasses, decanters, bowls, ashtrays, vases and mirrors.
