Here, you have an opportunity to point out errors to the government and suggest remedies to simplify rules.
The Subordinate Legislation Committee, which is reviewing various rules, bylaws, regulations, government orders, notification issued based on various enactments, has invited the public to point out discrepancies to enable it to suggest to the government the steps to be taken up for rectifying such errors.
The Committee chairman and legislator N Yogish Bhat told reporters on Thursday that there are about 280 Acts enacted by the state legislature and based these enactments, various rules, notification, government orders have been issued by the officials exercising the power delegated to them.
Now, it has come to the notice of the Committee that there have been many rules, bylaws, government orders, notification which are contrary to the provisions of the Acts or complicated or not people-friendly.
Persons pointing out the discrepancies to the committee have to mention their names, address, telephone numbers along with the suggestion to over come the problem.
