Goud to lead KSCA squad
   Yere Goud will lead a 14-member KSCA squad for the Emerging Players tournament to be held in Australia from July 11 to 30. The squad also includes Inr Robin Uthappa.

Shree enters semifinals
   Shree got the better of Arvind S 200-187 to book a spot in the last-four stage of the 10th G Raman Nair billiards handicap tournament.

Results:  Quarterfinals: Shree Advani bt Arvind S 200-187; B Bhaskar bt Gautham 200-115; Md Arshad bt V Chawla 200-149; Michael Rebello bt A Bhushan 200-118.

Olympic Day Run on Sunday
    The Karnataka Olympic Association will conduct Olympic Day Run 2007 at Chikmagalur on June 24. The Run, which is being conducted under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee and Indian Olympic Association is open to men, women and children. U-15 inter-school cricket tourney
   Wisden Sports will conduct  under-15 inter-school invitation limited over cricket tournament from June 25 to July 6. The leage-cum-knockout event will be played at St John’s Medical college ground. For details, contact M L Ravi - 9449809697.
