Research In Motion (RIM) on Friday introduced the BlackBerry Curve, RIM’s latest internet mobile in India. The smallest and lightest full QWERTY BlackBerry smartphone measures 107 mm x 60 mm x 15.5 mm, and weighs only 111 grams. With its large display, easy-to-use keyboard and intuitive trackball navigation system, this new smartphone makes it easy for users to stay connected. The BlackBerry Curve, priced at Rs 24,990, is scheduled to be available from Airtel and Hutch in late June.

The BlackBerry Curve is targeted to business professionals and consumers alike with its robust email, high-performance web-browsing support and powerful entertainment capabilities. The Curve comes with a 2 megapixel camera, 5x digital zoom, built-in flash, self-portrait mirror and full screen viewfinder.

For added storage of music, videos and pictures, the BlackBerry Curve comes with a microSD expansion slot. It supports up to 2GB cards that are available today and will automatically support 4GB cards when they are available.
The BlackBerry Curve features a high-performance browser that can download and display HTML web pages quickly and efficiently. The highly responsive browser, large and vivid screen and super-easy trackball navigation provides an exceptional mobile experience.
