Sabarimala tantris kin prevented from performing puja
Thiruvananthapuram, UNI :

Rahul Easwar, grandson of Sabarimala tantri Kandararu Maheswararu, was removed by police while he was heading for conducting a ‘’sarvaiswarya puja’’ for the welfare of state Devaswom Minister G Sudhakaran in front of the state secretariat today.
Rahul and his aides, Sambu Namboodiri and chief priest of the puja G N Namboodiri, were later released on bail by police.
Rahul was arrested and released on bail yesterday evening, after he tried to create unruly scenes at Minister G Sudharkaran’s office.
Though Rahul had sought permission for the puja, it was denied by the city police Commissioner citing law and order issues, police said.
Police removed Rahul and his aides from near the AG’s office, while they were heading to the secretariat for performing the puja to protest against the outrageous statements being made by the Devaswom Minister against the Brahmin community.
