Jyoti Randhawa stole the limelight on the final day of the BMW International Open golf tournament, landing two eagles on the back nine to return a card of three-under-par 69 to finish tied 11th.
The Indian ace shot a brilliant four-under 32 on his back nine to finish with a four-day total of seven-under 281.
His compatriots Jeev Milkha Singh (71) and Shiv Kapur (68) finished tied 18th and 21st respectively as the Indians rounded off a fine week in Europe.
Niclas Fasth (275), fourth at the US Open last week, edged out local hero Bernhard Langer (67) and Jose Filipe Lima (72) to win the title by two shots.
Randhawa gave no inkling of his fine finish as he parred the first seven holes and bogeyed the eighth and parred the ninth and 10th. He then struck an eagle on the 11th and a gained a shot on the 12th. This was followed by a bogey on the 14th but he had an eagle on the 18th to round off a brilliant day.
Randhawa's final-hole eagle earned him just under 10,000 euros as he rose from tied 21st to 11th and picked up 31,228 euros.
Jeev had a terrible front nine with bogeys on the second, third and fifth holes. The Chandigarh golfer, however, shifted gears with birdies on the sixth, ninth, 11th and 13th.
Save for a bogey on the 14th, Jeev was on course for a better finish with birdies on the 15th and 17th. However, a closing bogey on the 18th cost him a higher finish as he totalled six-under-par 282.
