Model among 3 killed in accident

Three members of a film shooting unit were killed in a collision between a van and a KSRTC bus on NH 206 near railway gate in Birur in the wee hours of Monday.

According to the police, the deceased have been identified as model Yuni  (18), art director Eugene (45) and driver Anandkumar (35).

The occupants of the van were proceeding to Bangalore from Gokarna after completing the shooting for a documentary for the Karnataka State Tourism Corporation. The bus was bound to Shimoga. Nasim, Sameer, Danish, Regar, Ramu, Dilshan and Channamma were injured in the accident.
