Mahindra Renault, on Tuesday, announced the national launch of two new variants of Logan — the 1.6 GLX and 1.5 dCI DLX, petrol and diesel version, respectively.
Briefing reporters, Mahindra Renault Pvt Ltd Vice President (Sales & Marketing) Nalin Mehta said while the petrol 1.6GLX car was priced at Rs 5,32,588, the diesel DLX would cost Rs 6,08, 700, both ex-showroom in Bangalore.
The two variants, he said, have been positioned in-between the GLD/DLE and GLS/DLS variants of Logan. With this there will be total of seven Logan variants from the Mahindra Renault stable.
Stating that the new variants were introduced following customer demand, Mr Mehta said, the two Logans boast of several additional features and are available in six colours — Toreador Red, Fiery Black, Sahara Beige, Mist Silver, Turf Green & Diamond White.
Since its launch in April 2007, Mr Mehta said the company had sold over 2,788 cars in May, of which 400 were in Bangalore alone. Of this while 71 per cent was diesel variants, 29 per cent was petrol variants of Logan which were sold.
Pointing out the company had received over 47,000 equiries so far, he said, nearly 20,000 had test driven the car.
