Government is planning to provide more powers to the Lamps Co-operative Society to provide marketing facility for the products collected by the tribals, said District Co-operative Society Deputy Manager Mohammed Jafrulla Khan.
Speaking after inaugurating training for tribals in honey collection, he said tribals should make use of the Yashaswi health insurance scheme.
District Co-operative Society Assistant Manager Y Madaiah said tribals should collect honey in a scientific manner. This will enhance the quality, he added.
District Khadi and Gramodyoga Officer M T Harishchandra, Lamps Co-operative Society Director B A Gangadhar, Secretary B Lokesh among others were present on the occasion.
