In a startling incident, a youth has raped a three year old girl in Ramakrishna Nagar I and F Block here.

However, sleuths attached to the women’s police station arrested and produced the accused, Ravi, a mason by profession, before the court on Wednesday. It is said that though the foul act was perpetrated three days ago it came to light on Wednesday.

Reportedly, Ravi had lured the child with chocolates before raping her. But, the doctors confirmed the same when the girl who complained of pain was taken to the hospital. Girl’s family have rented a house belonging to Ravi in the extension.

A complaint has been registered in this regard by the girl’s parents at the women’s police station.
