Strains of guitar

Young guitar artistes from Bangalore strumed their guitars coaxing blues, country, flamenco, rock, pop rhythms at a guitar contest organised at Bangalore Central on Saturday (June 23).
Six finalists was given five minutes to showcase their talent with guitar. The parameter for judging the contestants were co-ordination between the player and instrument, general technique and their knowledge of the instrument.

The winner
At the end of contest, Harish beat a tough competition and took home a cash prize of Rs 40,000 (forty thousand)  and also a trophy. The runner up prize was shared by Delvis and Ratandeep and they walked away with gift vouchers worth Rs 5000 each.
The judges for the event were Apernith Singh and Dominic. Apernith who is the fastest guitarist in India, popularly known for his recent album Apernith and Dominic.
He not only judged contestants talent but also tested their knowledge by asking them questions on the guitar.
The toast of the evening was Apernith, who held the audience spellbound with his guitar and told the contestants how to play guitar in an effective method.
The guitar competition was a part of the ongoing youthbuzz that has a lot more events such as War of DJ  and salsa contest coming up at Bangalore Central.
