Book sale
For those avid readers who eagerly wait for the annual Strand Book Festival, the bookstore has unfolded a 10-day mid-annual book festival, which began on June 22.
The exhibition has categories covering fiction, literature, management, self-help, history, philosophy, science, art, design, architecture, reference, fitness, travel, cookery, crafts and children's books. Discounts upto 80 per cent are available in all categories. The exhibition is on till July 1, 10 am to 8:30 pm, at Basava Bhavan, near Chalukya Hotel.

A campaign
Tanishq has announced a special campaign across the country to recognise and reward the services of doctors and chartered accountants.
The campaign entitles doctors and chartered accountants to special discounts on purchase of studded jewellery.
 Further, as a token of appreciation, Tanishq is offering to pay the last installment of the highly popular Golden Harvest Scheme of those who enroll in this programme during the period June 30 - July 1 at any Tanishq showroom in the country. To avail of this offer doctors and chartered accountants will need to bring proof of their profession, states a release.

Youth festival
Bangalore Central is playing host to “Youth Buzz”, a festival for youth, till July 8, with the latest in apparel, accessories and gizmos, along with a host of events and promotions.
The main attraction at “Youth Buzz” is the latest styles from all youth wear brands in apparels and latest accessories like bags, shoes, belts, etc.
Youth Buzz also gives a platform for budding talent, plus a chance to groove to music and participate in special events. 
The grand finale of Youth Buzz will be the Salsa competition on July 7, states a release.
