Bangalore is now getting into product development from end-to-end, design to market. Centillium Communications R&D centre, Bangalore, India is a live example of this. Centillium, on Thursday, launched their full featured Mustang 300 system-on-chip (SoC) for ethernet passive optical networks (EPON) and ARION extremeVDSL2 solutions for the Indian market.
“The chips have been fully developed by Bangalore R&D centre. Centillium India is largest campus and larger than the headquarters in Fremont,” said CEO & Co-founder Faraj Aalaei. The Bangalore centre is focussed on developing products in optical fiber-to-the home, VDSL2 and voice over IP gateways space for global clients.
