Two arrested
Bangalore,DHNS:
Two persons, Moosa and Syed Mujahar were caught red-handed when they were illegally recording the arguments of State Advocate General on a petition related to Bowring hospital property dispute inside a court hall of the HC.

Two persons were caught red-handed when they were illegally recording the arguments of State Advocate General on a petition related to Bowring hospital property dispute inside a court hall of the HC  during the hearing of the case on Thursday.

The incident came to light when some lawyers noticed two persons - Moosa and Syed Mujahar -  recording the arguments.

The police, who detained the duo, seized the mobile phone and produced them before the registrar general. The duo were let off after the personnel of computer wing of the HC downloaded the contents stored in the mobile and the duo gave an apology in writing.

The action was initiated as the law does not permit recording - either audio or video - of arguments inside the court halls in India. Earlier in his argument, Advocate General Udaya Holla submitted that the property belong to the Government and the petitioners, who have encroached upon some other land around the disputed land, are now trying to create a confusion on the rights over the  property.
