The state government, on Friday, issued a notification on the enhanced licence fee, which would come into effect from July 1, 2007.

As per the notification, the renewed annual licence fee is as follows: CL2 (retail stores of Indian Made Liquor) in City Municipal Corporation (CMC) areas with a population of more than 20 lakh - Rs 4,46,000; other CMC areas - Rs 3,64,000, City Municipal Council  areas - Rs 3,30,000; Town Municipal Council (TMC)/Town Panchayat areas - Rs 2,50,000; other areas - Rs 2 lakh.

CL4 (clubs): CMC areas with a population of more than 20 lakh - Rs 6 lakh; other CMC areas - Rs 4 lakh; CMC - Rs 3 lakh; TMC - Rs 2,50,000; other areas - Rs 2 lakh.

CL5 (occasional): Rs 10,000 per day. CL6A (star hotel): Rs 8 lakh per year.

CL7 (Hotels, boarding houses): CMC areas with a population of more than 20 lakh - Rs 6,60,000; other CMC areas - Rs 5,80,000; CMC - Rs 4,30,000; TMCs/Town Panchayat areas - Rs 3,64,000 and other areas - Rs 2,80,000.

CL9 (Bars): CMC areas with a population of more than 20 lakh - Rs 6 lakh; Other CMC areas - Rs 4,62,000; CMCs - Rs 3,64,000 and TMCs/Town Panchayat areas - Rs 2,60,000.
