Going through the main thoroughfares in the City, the rally would culminate in the mini Vidhana Soudha premises, where the deputy commissioner’s office is situated. Later, a memorandum will be submitted to Deputy Commissioner Pankajkumar Pandey urging the authority concerned to take measures to protect the environment.
Mr Patil said, a function has been organised in Kannada Bhavan premises at 10:45 am, wherein the district-level ‘Young Scientist Award’ would be presented. This function would be inaugurated by Agriculture Marketing and District-in-Charge Minister Sharanabasappagouda Darshnapur. He noted that, creating awareness with regard to the protection of the environment had become more necessary now.
