Kannada Devel-opment Authority (KDA) Chairman Dr Siddalingaiah has said the private sector companies sh-ould have a representative of the authority on their recruitment panels.

The authority has approached the government to bring in a rule asking private firms to have authority’s representative on their recruitment panels. Industries Minister Katta Subramanya Naidu has already responded positively to the appeal, he  said after inaugurating Bhagyalakshmi group of Kannada Sanghas on Sunday.  He also said  a drive to remove non-Kannada advertisement hoardings in Bangalore would be launched soon and sought Kannada medium in CBSE and ICSE schools too.
