A three acre-19 gunta site at Rayasandra (Sarjapur Hobli, Anekal Taluk), sold at Rs 6.65 crore. That was the high point of Monday’s public auctioning of recovered government land, that fetched the Revenue Department Rs 20.44 crore, from auctioning 22 acres and 38 guntas.
The site was auctioned to Srinivas B K at a whopping 478 per cent of the guidance value in the area. A 12-gunta site at Indlabele (Attibele Hobli, Anekal) clocked the biggest returns of the day in terms of the rates corresponding to guidance values. The site was bought by Omkareshwar for Rs 80 lakh, 782.35 per cent of the guidance value.
A total of 12 sites in Anekal and Bangalore North (Additional) Taluks went under the hammer on Monday. Seven sites fetched prices higher than the guidance values. Some of the sites also fetched poor prices and are in for re-auctioning.
While a three acre-19 gunta site at Balluru (Attibele Hobli, Anekal) went at Rs 10 lakh, a two acre-13 gunta site at Soppahalli (Kasba Hobli, Anekal) fetched only Rs 5 lakh. The sites were auctioned at prices 14.40 per cent and 12.65 per cent of the guidance values respectively. Seven sites notified for the auction were not auctioned because there were no bidders.
