The counting of the Ullal by-election will be held at Karnataka Polytechnic (KPT) on June 5.
All the Electronic voting Machines have been kept at KPT under CISF and KSRP security.
Speaking to Deccan Herald, Deputy Commissioner M Maheshwar Rao said elaborate security arrangements have been made at the venue. Section 144 has been clamped around the KPT. The counting process will begin at 8 am. The results were expected by 11 am, he added.
He said as many as 100 officials will take part in the counting process.
Rao also informed that the use of mobile phones, cigarettes, lighter, beeda and any battery used electronic gadget has been banned in the counting centre. Ullal constituency went to polls on June 2 and there are five candidates on fray.
