Arthur boost for Ford
DH News Service, Bangalore:

As the race for the Indian coach's position gained momentum with the Board of Control for Cricket in India disclosing John Emburey as the 'other foreigner' in race with Graham Ford, the latter received the vote of confidence from South African coach Micky Art-hur.

Ford, a former South African coach himself, was on Monday short-listed by the seven-member committee to find a replacement for Greg Chappell, who resigned from his post after the World Cup debacle.
"Him and I are very similar in our coaching styles," said Arthur when asked about his country-mate.
"He can do the job for India. He can be a motivator, he does the hard work. He can just be the coach that India requires at the moment. Rahul's (Dravid) and his characteristics are pretty similar. He will be very special. Good luck to him if he is offered the job," he added.
