DLF Limited, leading real estate developer, plans to diversify into the booming civil aviation sector.
According to DLF Limited Director Pia Singh, to start with DLF is looking at development and management of airports.
DLF Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Germany-based Fraport AG Frankfort Airport Services Worldwide to set up a special purpose vehicle (SPV) for focusing on the development and management of airport projects in India, Ms Singh said.
The SPV termed as DLF Fraport SPV will work towards taking up development and management of airports in major cities across the country.
