Landslip: Youth rescued
Mangalore, DH News Service:

   A youth was miraculously rescued after loose soil fell on him when he was working in a drainage works being undertaken by the Kudcemp, near railway overbridge on Padil - Bajal road.
   According to the police, the youth Rajkumar Minz (29), hailing from West Bengal, was working inside an under-construction drainage pit when suddenly the loose soil fell on him burying him till his neck. Immediately, the policemen and fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and rescued him. The youth has been admitted to a hospital and is out of danger.
Man drowns
   A person died when he accidentally fell into sea while fishing at Kelyaru village in Surathkal.
   According to police, the deceased has been identified as Manikanta (50). The body was found in Kondige river on Wednesday. A case has been registered.
Man killed
   A person was killed after being knocked down by a bulldozer in NMPT yard near Panambur on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Ajay, a native of Chitradurga. He was working as supervisor. According to the police, Ajay busy signalling when the bulldozer knocked him down killing him on the spot. 
   Panambur police have registered a case in this regard.
