It was time to get those curlers and stilettoes out last week with Channel V’s ‘Get Gorgeous’.
The channel, along with Prasad Bidapa, hosted a glamourous party to unveil the three Get Gorgeous finalists from Bangalore.
Attended by the city’s glitterati at Nyx, the evening saw a heady mix of dance and fun as the guests let down their hair and rocked the party.
The three finalists from Bangalore — Sarika, Nidhi and Kirtana Krishnan — will be a part of a group of 10 contestants chosen to experience a series of exciting makeovers by style experts, culminating with an annual contract with Channel V and Elite Model Management.

Going international
 But that’s not all. These lucky girls also get an opportunity to walk the runway for the biggest designers, international ramp exposure and features in international fashion magazines.
The past winners made their debut into the modeling world turning their dreams into an exciting reality. “With 10 girls under the same roof, things can get a little ugly but you just have to stay calm and composed,” shares Nidhi. Unfolding another Cinderella story, the reality show is here once again to make dreams come true.
With the launch of Season Four, new faces will enter the competition with the winner being India’s next supermodel and a new glamourous face to the industry.

Rearing to go
“The competition is not only about being beautiful, it’s also about having the right attitude and being confident,” says Sarika.
With vigourous training and strict diets to follow, these girls are all set for the competition and hope to make Bangalore proud.
The show will be aired on Channel V beginning Thursday, June 7.
