The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has warned evaluators of disciplinary action if they do not attend valuation duty of SSLC supplementary answerscripts.
Heads of institutions will also be held responsible if evaluators from their schools do not report to the valuation centres.
In a press release, KSEEB Director T M Kumar has stated that a large number of high school teachers teaching English as first language have not reported for SSLC valuation work which commenced on June 5.
“This is a serious act of indiscipline. The Board will initiate very serious action against absentees. The same should be noted by the heads of these institutions and managements, who have not relieved them on time. They will also be liable for action, if the deputed teachers do not report to evaluation centres by June 8,” Mr Kumar said.
