Executive committee meet of State BJP Yuva Morcha will be held at Hubli on June 13, informed State Secretary of Morcha Robin Devaiah.
Addressing a press conference in the City on Thursday, Robin Devaiah said that failures of UPA Government to control terrorism and hike in the prices of essential commodities will be discussed in the meet.
State committee of BJP Yuva Morcha has been restructured. Yuva Morcha leaders are touring the state to re-constitute taluk and district level units of the body. Yuva Morcha activists will be trained to highlight the achievements of JD(S)-BJP coalition government in the State.
Hailing the budget present by Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, he said that party activists should create awareness among the mass about welfare programmes declared in the budget.
Flaying UPA Government’s ‘soft stand’ towards terrorists, he demanded the Union government to hang Afzal Guru, for whom Supreme Court has awarded death sentence in Parliament attack case.
State BJP Yuva Morcha had launched signature campaign demanding for prosecution of Afzal.
The campaign will be intensified in the next phase. Modalities related to this will be chalked out in the forthcoming Executive committee meet, he remarked.
