Sanskrit language learning classes will be held in the City under the aegis of Sanskrit Bharati organisation from July 1. The course is of 2 year duration and admission is open for people from all walks of life.
Addressing a press meet in the City, Mattur Srinidhi of Sanskrit Bharati organisation informed that 1st year course will be called ‘Bhasha Pravesha’ where issues related to Sanskrit language will be taught. Second year course will be called ‘Geeta Pravesha’ where classes will be held on rhetoric. Both Bhasha and Geeta Pravesha will be taught in semesters, he said.
Form of teaching
Candidates will be taught verbal, written and conversational skills in Sanskrit and who successfully complete the course will become eligible for learning Bhagavadgeeta. In the next phase, Sanskrit Bharati is planning to offer course in Veda, Upanishad and thereby popularise ancient way of life, he stated.
Fee structure
Students have to pay Rs 300 fees for each semester which includes examination fees also.
